Employability"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"149\" data-end=\"548\">\ud83d\udcc5 <strong data-start=\"152\" data-end=\"180\">On Monday, June 16, 2025<\/strong>, participants gathered in <strong data-start=\"207\" data-end=\"223\">Room F-S 012<\/strong> to explore the unspoken rules of professional presentation during the <strong data-start=\"294\" data-end=\"359\">Dining Etiquette, Business Dress Codes, and Small Talk Skills<\/strong> workshop.<br data-start=\"369\" data-end=\"372\" \/>Part of the <strong data-start=\"387\" data-end=\"401\">FIT series<\/strong>, this session helped students understand how behavior outside of the meeting room can impact career success just as much as formal qualifications.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"550\" data-end=\"841\">\ud83d\udd11 <strong data-start=\"553\" data-end=\"570\">Key takeaways<\/strong> from the workshop included:<br data-start=\"598\" data-end=\"601\" \/>\u2022 \ud83c\udf7d\ufe0f How to navigate business meals with confidence and courtesy<br data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"669\" \/>\u2022 \ud83d\udc54 Understanding appropriate dress codes in various professional contexts<br data-start=\"744\" data-end=\"747\" \/>\u2022 \ud83d\udcac Developing small talk strategies for networking events and informal business interactions<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"996\">\ud83c\udfaf The interactive format allowed students to practice these skills in realistic scenarios, making the experience both <strong data-start=\"962\" data-end=\"975\">practical<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"980\" data-end=\"993\">memorable<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"998\" data-end=\"1141\">\ud83c\udf0d For international students, in particular, the session offered <strong data-start=\"1064\" data-end=\"1094\">valuable cultural insights<\/strong> into expectations in German business settings.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1383\">\ud83d\udcbc By mastering these social and professional subtleties, participants are now better equipped to make a strong and lasting impression in any setting \u2013 whether at a <strong data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1325\">formal dinner<\/strong>, a <strong data-start=\"1329\" data-end=\"1346\">job interview<\/strong>, or a <strong data-start=\"1353\" data-end=\"1382\">casual networking meet-up<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1385\" data-end=\"1511\">\ud83c\udfc5 The workshop also contributed <strong data-start=\"1418\" data-end=\"1430\">3 points<\/strong> toward the <em data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1471\">Soft Skills &amp;
