Intercultural Awareness Session for International Students (Late Arrivals) FIT: Welcome &amp; Orientation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"258\" data-end=\"460\">On November 6, 2025, international students who arrived late or were unable to attend the Orientation Days joined our <em data-start=\"376\" data-end=\"409\">Intercultural Awareness Session<\/em> as part of the FIT: Welcome &amp; Orientation program.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"809\">The session was designed to support students in navigating their new cultural environment and to help them better understand the challenges and opportunities of intercultural experiences. Through interactive input, discussions, and shared reflections, participants explored how cultural differences influence everyday situations and communication.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"811\" data-end=\"841\"><strong data-start=\"811\" data-end=\"841\">Highlights of the session:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"843\" data-end=\"934\">\u2705 Understanding cultural adaptation processes and typical challenges in a new environment<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"1011\">\u2705 Learning strategies to deal with cultural misunderstandings effectively<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1013\" data-end=\"1077\">\u2705 Reflecting on personal experiences and cultural perspectives<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1079\" data-end=\"1143\">\u2705 Connecting and exchanging with fellow international students<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1145\" data-end=\"1429\">The session provided a supportive space for participants to share their experiences, gain new perspectives, and build confidence in dealing with intercultural situations. Students left with practical tools to better navigate daily life and feel more at home in their new surroundings.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1507\" data-end=\"1518\"><strong data-start=\"1507\" data-end=\"1518\">Outlook<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1520\" data-end=\"1729\">Further workshops and support offers for international students will continue throughout the semester.
