Before the start of the lecture period, the Department of International Student Affairs hosted its Orientation Week<\/strong> for Erasmus+ exchange students and international degree-seeking students beginning their studies in the winter or summer semester.<\/p>\n

Throughout the program, participants were guided step by step through essential administrative processes, including enrolment and registration with local authorities. In addition, the sessions provided key information about studying in Siegen<\/span><\/span>, as well as an overview of student services and campus life.<\/p>\n

Beyond the formal sessions, the week offered a valuable opportunity for students to familiarize themselves with the university, explore the city, and connect with fellow international students<\/strong>. This helped create an open and supportive environment right from the start of their academic journey.<\/p>\n

The program was supported by the Erasmus Student Network<\/span><\/span> (ESN), whose members contributed to organizing activities and fostering connections among participants.<\/p>\n

Overall, the Orientation Week ensured that new international students were well-prepared, informed, and socially integrated as they began their studies.<\/p>\n
