Kurz vor den Finalspielen und im Vorfeld der WM in Brasilien wollte ich gerne einige gute Fu\u00dfballartikel hier vorstellen. Doch das ist gar nicht so einfach. Das Fu\u00dfball-Fantum ist zwar mittlerweile auch vollst\u00e4ndig in den Medien angekommen und f\u00fcr viele Erinnerungssammlungen gut, lesbare Artikel bringt es aber offenkundig kaum einmal hervor. Wenn nicht einmal Alex Ferguson irgendetwas minimal Interessantes sagen kann\u2026 Ferguson in seiner Autobiografie, deren deutsche \u00dcbersetzung das merkw\u00fcrdigerweise als Ort einer \u00bb<\/strong>anspruchsvollen, literarischen Berichterstattung\u00ab (Wikipedia) eingestufte Magazin \u00bb<\/strong>11 Freunde<\/a>\u00ab in Ausz\u00fcgen nachdruckt, \u00fcber David Beckham: \u00bb<\/strong>Ich fragte mich h\u00e4ufig: Wie macht er das nur? Ausdauer, war meine erste Antwort. Aber dar\u00fcber hinaus wollte David auch verbl\u00fcffen. Und er konnte noch immer gute Flanken schlagen, einen guten Querpass spielen.\u00ab<\/p>\n Auch die Anh\u00e4nger des linksliberalen, gerechten Fu\u00dfballs haben es schwer. Die Website Afootballreport, die ihre Rubriken \u00bb<\/strong>Thought\u00ab, \u00bb<\/strong>Culture\u00ab, \u00bb<\/strong>Get Involved\u00ab nennt, fordert ihre Leser auf, sich f\u00fcr einen \u00bb<\/strong>underdog\u00ab zu engagieren. Tats\u00e4chlich hat es Atletico Madrid nicht immer leicht im Leben, wie der Artikel \u00bb<\/strong>Everyone\u2019s Second Team<\/a>\u00ab wei\u00df: \u00bb<\/strong>The sad fact of the matter is that off the pitch, this team has been sorely mismanaged and has struggled financially for years.
