Exclusive BASH BOOM BANG team event to meet the scholarship recipients

Siegen Junior Fellows
The “Siegen Junior Fellows” initiative aims to strengthen networking among all scholarship recipients at the University of Siegen, as well as students nominated for a scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation. Regular events and meetings are designed not only to foster the personal and academic development of participants but also to improve knowledge exchange and career prospects.
The “Siegen Junior Fellows” network provides a platform that promotes exchange among committed students and offers them impetus for their further academic and professional paths.
The “Siegen Junior Fellows” include scholarship recipients from all foundations (Bachelor’s and Master’s students) and Siegen’s Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship) recipients. Additionally, other students nominated for scholarships are also included. Through regular meetings, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants can make new contacts and exchange experiences and knowledge. This aims to support their own academic and professional development, as well as collaboration within the University of Siegen.
The kick-off took place at the end of September 2025, laying the foundation for the initiative. In the future, the “Siegen Junior Fellows” will regularly come together to share knowledge, ideas, and experiences – thus building a strong, interdisciplinary network at the University of Siegen. The university’s initiative is led by Ira Dexling and is assigned to the Vice-Rectorate of Prof. Dr. Petra M. Vogel. Scholarship recipients at the University of Siegen who would like to participate can contact Ira Dexling.
