Not all foundations at the University of Siegen have a liaison professor. In that case, you can contact the foundation directly. However, we are also happy to put you in touch with student representatives at the University of Siegen (scholarship recipients). They are also available to assist you as points of contact. You can contact these representatives through the Studienförderfonds Siegen. We’re happy to facilitate the connection so you can get in touch with a fellow student directly and get first-hand information.

liaison lecturers at the University of Siegen
- Their main responsibility is to identify and support talented students and to serve as advisors to the foundations.
Nominating scholarship recipients: They nominate particularly gifted and dedicated students for scholarships from the respective foundation. - Evaluations and interviews: You will conduct interviews with applicants, prepare evaluations, and assess whether a student is eligible for funding.
- Student advising: They advise students on the application process and the foundation’s funding opportunities.
- Support for scholarship recipients: You will serve as independent mentors and points of contact for scholarship recipients throughout the duration of their funding, answering questions about their academic careers.
- Representing the Foundation: You represent the Foundation at the university and promote its funding opportunities.
