On June 24, 2025, 27 female scholarship recipients attended an informational event regarding the new INCYTE building on the University of Siegen’s Science Campus. The group gained insight into the emerging interdisciplinary research center for nanoanalytics, nanochemistry, and cyber-physical sensor technologies. During the visit, the planned laboratory and research areas were presented—including high-end electron microscopy, cleanrooms for sensor development, and state-of-the-art synthesis and preparation laboratories. The participants were able to get a sense of how the new center will bring together research, teaching, and innovative technologies in one place in the future. The event offered the scholarship recipients an exciting opportunity to get an up-close look at the University of Siegen’s future research infrastructure and to discuss potential scientific career paths.
