The network “Welcome to Siegen” is a group of institutions with various counseling services for people from abroad who are new to the University of Siegen or who are interested in a stay at the University of Siegen.
A Look Back: Welcome Event 2024
On November 21, 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting a fantastic Welcome Event for international students at the University of Siegen. The event brought together students from all over the world, offering them a warm introduction to their new home.
Highlights from 2024:
- A warm welcome from Siegen’s Mayor, Steffen Mues, and the University’s Rector
- Engaging conversations with representatives from university services, local organizations, and regional networks
- Insights into the Siegen-Wittgenstein region, its opportunities, and cultural highlights
- Networking opportunities with fellow students and student initiatives
- Free treats: a hot drink and cake voucher to enjoy while meeting new people
We loved seeing so many of you there and hope you had a great time getting to know the university, the city, and each other!
