FIT in SIEGEN - Forging International Talents is organised by the International Student Affairs department at the University of Siegen.
Many offers can be realised thanks to cooperation with partners from the university and the region.
The Vice-Rectorate for International and Lifelong Learning at the University of Siegen is responsible for the strategic direction of the programme.

It is funded by the DAAD with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

The DAAD is a joint organisation of German universities and student bodies to foster their international relations. Its task is to promote university relations with other countries through the exchange of students, graduates and academics.

Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF)

Together with the federal states, the BMBF is responsible for extracurricular vocational education and training, promotion of career advancement and continuing vocational training. An important focus of its work is educational equity - a person's origin should not determine their educational opportunities. Among other things, the BMBF promotes the research and development of promising technologies in order to create the economic and social foundations for the future of our country.
