The Employability Pass helps international students at the University of Siegen gain valuable experience, develop key professional and social skills, and prepare for a successful career in Germany.
How Does It Work?
By joining FIT workshops and activities, you collect points in four categories – from orientation and well-being to career and networking.
Each step you take brings you closer to earning your Employability Pass certificate – plus an exclusive reward to support your next career move.
How to earn points?

| FIT-Moodle course | 1 | Pass a complete level. |
| Orientation Days | 3 | Join the International Office’s Orientation Days at the start of your studies. |
| Once: German Intensive Course | 5 | Complete the course. |
| Once: German Course | 5 | Other German courses of our Language Center can also be credited towards the Employability Pass once. |
| Buddy-Program | 3 | Join as an international or local Buddy and participate in at least 3 events. |
| Welcome Event | 1 | Visit the “Willkommen in Siegen” event and take a picture at the “Fotobox” or a selfie at the event. |
| (German) Culture Sessions | 1 | Register for and participate in a FIT session about (German) culture. |

| 2-Day Well-Being Workshop | 3 | Register for and participate in a 2-Day FIT Well-Being Workshop. |
| Speed-Friending | 1 | Join a FIT speed-friending event. |
| International Stammtisch | 3 | Participate in at least 3 meetings of the International Stammtisch. |

| Workshops on Career Competence Awareness | 3 | Register for and participate in a FIT C2AW workshop organised by the Career Service |
| Application Guidance & Competence Coaching | 1 | Go to a FIT career or competence consultation offered by the Career Service. |
| Once: DaF-Specialized Course | 5 | Complete the course „Deutsch für das Berufsleben“ or „Technisches Deutsch im Studium und Beruf“. |
| Alumni Career Day | 1 | Join the Alumni Career Day. |
