Digital Preparation Course
Before you leave for Germany, be digitally prepared to minimize culture shock and new information overload. A webinar series with practical exercises and intercultural content will cover topics like visa application, travel preparations, accommodation, arrival, local contacts, and starting studies in the German study system and culture.
Orientation Days
The Orientation Days will help you to find your way around Siegen and the university campus. In addition to local orientation, you will receive lots of information about everyday life and living in Germany. You will also meet your fellow students and make your first contacts.
Buddy Program
You are new to Siegen and want to get support from an experienced local student? The Buddy program offers you intercultural exchange, fun group activities and the opportunity to find new friends and learn the language.
Welcome Event
The Welcome Network Siegen will organise an traid-fair like event for you, at which various network stakeholders introduced themselves. The event will be opened by the mayor of the city of Siegen.
