Recap 28.05. Spaßgetränke and crafting | FIT: Well-Being & Social Integration

Recap: 28.05. SLR Special Event: Spaßgetränke und Crafting 🎨🥤

On May 28th, 2026, the Student Living Room transformed into a vibrant hub of creativity and color for our Special Event: Spaßgetränke und Crafting. It was an afternoon dedicated to taking a well-deserved creative break, slowing down, and exchanging textbooks for crafting tools.

Unleashing Creativity & Mixing Flavors

The concept of the event was simple yet deeply rewarding: combining hands-on DIY projects with refreshing, fancy alcohol-free sodas. It was the ideal way to shake off the stress of the week and dive into something tactile and fun.

Here is what made the afternoon so special:

  • The Creative Stations: With a variety of materials and tools laid out, participants could start their own DIY projects. From painting to cutting and assembling, everyone found their own rhythm. The best part? No prior experience was needed, allowing everyone to experiment freely.

  • The “Fun Drinks”: To fuel the creative energy, a colorful variety of special, alcohol-free “Fun Drinks” and fancy sodas were served. They weren’t just delicious, but also served as a great conversation starter while waiting for paint to dry or glue to set.

  • The Good Times: What started as focused crafting quickly turned into a lively, collective exchange. New connections were made across the crafting tables, and familiar faces from the SLR community mingled with newcomers who were drawn in by the DIY vibes.

By 6 PM, as the event came to an end, the tables were covered in unique creations, and the room was filled with smiles. The afternoon beautifully showed how crafting and a fancy drink can bring people together, spark spontaneous conversations, and build a warm sense of community.
