This workshop is a great opportunity to check your job-readiness and improve your skills to get jobs successfully. Employability is more than just getting your „first“ job. The term encompasses all your abilities, knowledge and skills that make you ‚job-fit‘ (hard and soft skills) – and stay job-fit once you have a job.

Within these two days you will take stock of your employability, reflect on your subject competence and improve your personal, interpersonal and workplace related skills. By identifying your strengths and your biggest challenges, you can set milestones and goals for your next career steps.

A few weeks after the training you will have the chance to meet again online and check in on your progress and topics, that you identified for yourself.

The workshop includes short presentations, solo reflections, partner exchanges, experimental simulations and group work (team work, socialising, networking, negotiating, interviews rounds, … ).

By the end of the workshop:

  1. You are familiar with the concept of employability, your strengths and areas of improvement.
  2. You have identified where you are on your education and career journey
  3. You have improved your ability to reflect, receive and give constructive feedback as well as strengthened your self-leadership.
  4. You have trained your communication, collaboration, critical thinking and creative problem solving skills during group exercises and challenges.
  5. You have set clear goals, understood the role of ownership and aligned actions in achieving them.
  6. You can critically review your own performance and adapt your actions accordingly (online follow-up).

This FIT-workshop counts for 3 points in the category „Soft Skills & Employability“ of the Employability Pass!

Transformative processes and changes are not only taking place with ever-increasing dynamism, they also affect all levels of society, organisations, teams, employees and, ultimately, the individual. • What models there are for change processes and how individuals behave according to them.
  • Which strategies at work (and at university) help you to deal with change processes.
