Intensive German Language Courses

Good German language skills are essential for the social integration and career entry of international students.

Many employers attach great importance to you having a basic knowledge of German. Not all colleagues will probably be able to speak English. Therefore, remember to improve your German regularly right from the start of your studies. A good knowledge of German will also help you to get to know the local culture and feel at home both in the region and in the company.

 

Our FIT-Intensive beginner courses for new international students are held especially before the start of your studies (every september & march).

 

The Language Center offers suitable courses in German as a foreign language (DaF) for every language level.

Creditability of university language courses for the Employability-Pass:

If you successfully complete an 3-weeks Intensive German course, you will receive 5 points in the area of Welcome & Orientation for your Employability Pass.
Please note that every other German course of our Language Center could also be credited towards the Employability Pass.

German Intensive Program

8:30-11:45 + 1 communication unit per week from 12:00 to1:30pm

Intensive Course 1:
German as a Foreign Language (DaF) - Target level A1.1 (Intensive Course) – 6 ECTS (+ 5 Points for your Employability Pass)
For students without prior knowledge of German.

Intensive Course 2:
German as a Foreign Language (DaF) - Target level A1.2 (Intensive Course) – 6 ECTS (+ 5 Points for your Employability Pass)
For students who have already successfully completed the A1.1 target level.
