DATA PROTECTION DECLARATION EVENTIM
When you register for our events on Eventim, personal data will be collected and processed by the FIT project team which ist part of the International Office (ISA) of the University of Siegen..
Purpose of Data Processing
The personal data collected in the registration form – including: Name, email address (mandatory), Student ID, first name, last name, Status, gender, nationality, Country of university entrance qualification, Degree program, academic degree.
They will be processed exclusively for the following purposes:

Organization and implementation of the event

Participant administration

Creation of internal statistics within the FIT project

Statistical reporting for the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

Tracking individual progress within the Employability Pass
Legal Basis for Processing
Data processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) DSGVO (consent). Providing answers to all custom questions is voluntary. The processing of mandatory information (name and email) is based on Art. 6(1)(b) DSGVO (performance of a contract, i.e. participation in the event).
Disclosure of Data
The data will be processed solely by the FIT project team and the International Office (ISA). Data will only be shared in anonymized form with the DAAD for statistical purposes. No personal data will be transferred to unauthorized third parties.
Storage Period
All personal data will be retained until the end of the project in 2028, after which it will be completely deleted.
