A training workshop to empower the academic women in TTU

The training workshop was held at TTU to train and encourage the academic women at TTU to participate and apply for international projects in the presence of the president Prof. Omer Maaitah,
a number of women faculty members from the university, and the SheLeads Academies Network at Yarmouk University. Dr. Ayat Nashwan led the training to provide the participants with extensive
expertise in applying, managing and leading international-funded projects. As a part of the training, Dr. Khalid Alemerien presented an introduction to the Master’s Project in Cyber-Physical Systems
MS@CPC, one of the Erasmus Plus projects funded by the European Union, Dr. Alemerien highlighted the importance of the project, the partners from partner and European countries, the
role of women in the project as students, academic staff, and administrators, and the importance of support for the development of high-quality academic programs at the regional level.

On the fifth day 3.06.2022 (the last day) of the KTH management meeting, Dr. Christian Weber from the University of Siegen chaired the session for a discussion on the remaining deliverables. He also wrapped up the meeting and the next steps to be done. At the end of the last day, Dr. Mohammad Saleh from the KTH (the host) and Dr. Christian Weber, distributed certificates of participation in the meeting.

 

On the morning sessions of the fourth day, 2.6.2022, of the KTH management meeting, Dr. Hamidreza Ahmadian from the University of Siegen and Dr. Ala’ Khalifa from GJU, presented about WP4 with a focus on the selection of external evaluators. In the same session, Dr. Hamidreza Ahmadian and Dr. Mohammed Saleh from KTH presented the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that to be signed among consortium partners by each rector of HE institutes at the partner countries to foster cooperation in running the master program of Cyber-Physical Systems. The participants at the KTH meeting approved the terms of the MoU. Dr. Christian Weber from the University of Siegen presented the required contributions from each partner on finalizing the deliverable D2.2 “Course Material”. The session concluded with stressing about finishing missing parts in the deliverable to reach the final form.

 

On the afternoon session of the fourth day 2.06.2022 of the KTH management meeting, Dr. Christian Weber from the University of Siegen concluded work on the deliverable D2.7 “Lab Requirements Report”.
In the same session, Dr. Mohammed Saleh from the KTH presented more details about the study cases. Lastly, Rashid Jayousi from Al-Quds University presented a draft of the survey to be distributed to the advisory industrial board to get their feedback on program implementation.

 

On the morning session of the third day 1.06.2022 of the KTH management meeting, Dr. Hamidreza Ahmadian from the University of Siegen (coordinating partner), presented about preparation for writing the final report of the project. He also discussed needed actions to finalize the submission of the report on time by end of this year. In the same session, Dr. Ezzaldeen Edwan from Palestine Technical College presented the final version of the sustainability plan and the consortium conducted a group revision for the plan, and amendments from partners were suggested to improve the plan.

 

On the afternoon session of the third day 1.06.2022 of the KTH management meeting, Prof. Kristina Nyström from the department of industrial economy and management at KTH gave a lecture entitled “Venture creation project as road map innovation topics – Technology-based Entrepreneurship”.
